Business & Non-profit Outreach Committee Director - description below.
Responsible for leading a committee of volunteers around the commonwealth who develops and maintains relationships with appropriate businesses, institutions, nonprofits and professional organizations to champion the value of and access to professional coaching, specifically creating opportunities for ICF VA coaches to gain coaching hours and exposure. This job is generally done with the support of a committee of volunteers. Recommended responsibilities:
• Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the committee, balancing the portfolio of partner relationships and available coaching opportunities for members.
• Identify, develop and nurture appropriate strategic partnerships, including overseeing maintenance of the partner relationship and the operations of the program(s).
• Identify volunteers/committee members to lead on partnership relationships.
• Coordinate and support committee members in the development and execution of partnership programs.
• Establish systems and processes to ensure quality and fairness in the availability of opportunities for members.
• Work closely with the ICF Board to manage the quality of coaches representing ICF VA as part of partnership programs.
• Work closely with the ICF Board to maximize the extent to which partnerships promote the coaching profession.
• Preside over committee meetings on a monthly basis and keep appropriate records.
• Serve as a Chapter Board Member and prepare monthly updates and contribute to the annual chapter report.

I would like to be a leader of the following Special Interest Group. As a leader, I understand that I am responsible for communicating with my group, providing a Zoom link for our meetings, creating a schedule and other tasks necessary to facilitate this group.

JAM is a non-denominational support group welcome to everyone in search of a job.  They provide career transition support via expert resources to provide training, coaching, and mentoring to job seekers.  Commitment - one hour facilitation during a weekly meeting, or, three hours coaching with an individual

The Ignite program matches a team of pro bono coaches with a non-profit organization in RVA to spark positive change in the community.  ACC, PCC, and MCC level coaches commit to six to 10 coaching sessions with a member of the non-profit team.  The project is formalized with ICF project tools including a Memo of Understanding and Coaching agreement; there is also a requirement for reporting coaching hours delivered.

Assist with International Coaching Week, May 16-25th, 2022. This committee raises awareness of the power of professional coaching in the business community through several virtual events.
