The school boundaries are uneven and they are also segregated by race and socio-economic status. (Learn more about our segregated boundaries at PHNEE.org/oneparkhill). What would you do to address School Boundaries in GPH?

Create new boundaries that leave room for choice in every school

Create boundaries that maximize socio-economic integration and minimize disruption to current families

Improve the marketing of schools so more kids enroll in under-enrolled schools

Ensure that each school has room to enroll choice students.

Provide transportation to non-boundary schools within GPH.

Give priorities in the choice process to maximize socio-economic integration in each school

Educate the community on the qualities of each school and the consequences of leaving the neighborhood.

Given the current approach to funding schools that includes student-based budgeting and external fundraising, including through PTA, what would you do to more equitably distribute funds?

Allocate all external funds raised in GPH schools to each school according to need.

Raise additional funds to be distributed throughout the neighborhood schools based on need.

Advocate for greater funding by the state of Colorado.

Work to enroll each school to full capacity to maximize funding
