Volunteer Policy

All Volunteers Must:

Agree to and pass a background check

Attend a Safety Environment Class

Have a positive and encouraging attitude

Be willing to provide aid to campers

Be able to lift and carry 25lbs

Be on your feet for extended periods of time

Be outside for extended periods of time

Restrict tobacco use to designated areas, out of sight of campers

Important things to note

This is a high-energy, family camp. Hearing children are allowed, but not the focus of camp. Camp is for the kids, volunteers come last. There will be respect for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing community, their culture, and their language.

By volunteering you are committing to help from start to finish.
