ACRL-Oregon offers free webinars on topics relevant to academic library workers. The format is flexible: hour-long presentations, facilitated discussions, lightning talks, panel discussions, etc.  These are supported by an ACRL-Oregon Board member and are presented via Zoom.

Some topics that participants have requested recently include:

-copyright
-vendor negotiations and licensing/privacy concerns
-critical digital and information literacies
-best free products (Tableau, etc.)
-anti-racism in libraries
-data literacy
-how to foster new partnerships on campus
-lesson planning, assignment design
-life after COVID
-Creative Commons How-To
-Advocating with Visual Data
-Free Feminism Resources
-Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon: How, Why, and/or Why Not?
-Interior Architecture resources
-open pedagogy
-instructional design for librarians

We would welcome proposals related to any of these topics or others.

If you have a rough idea for a session, feel free to submit your idea and we'll be happy to work with you to develop it.

Sessions will be recorded and made openly available via YouTube and our website. If you are interested in presenting as part of this series, let us know below. Please note that you do not need to be a member of ACRL-Oregon, an Oregon librarian, an MLS-holder, or an academic librarian to present.
