Treasurer Role and Responsibilities
The Treasurer is an Officer of the Board and shall perform all the duties incident to the office of Treasurer, including but not limited to:
Serves on the Board of Directors.
Attends Board meetings (to be held at least quarterly) to report on station finances, fundraising, etc.
Prepares an annual budget for submission to the Board of Directors for approval. Upon approval by the Board, the budget will be presented to the membership.
Collects all funds raised by Hollow Earth Radio through fundraising efforts.
Responsible for grant application and administration with existing organizations and any newly identified grants applicable for Hollow Earth Radio. Receive grant reports and include them in the station’s budget.
Maintains full and accurate records of all money raised by Hollow Earth Radio through fundraising.
Disburses all funds as authorized by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Bylaws.
Collects all membership dues through the GivingFuel system, maintaining a record of all members' payments and making monthly financial statements available to the board and/or radio station members upon request; and filing any and all tax reports and returns.
Ensures development of and board review of financial policies and procedures.
The Treasurer is authorized to sign or countersign checks, correspondence, applications, reports, contracts and other documents on behalf of the organization.

Tech Focus Lead Role and Responsibilities
A person who can understand our current tech needs and contribute to a vision for the long term stability of the station’s infrastructure.

Areas of responsibility/potential projects:
Serves on the Board of Directors.
Attends Board meetings (to be held at least quarterly) to report on the technical health of the station and status of ongoing projects, and to propose new projects/initiatives for Board approval.
Planning and oversight of transport and reinstallation of computing and broadcast equipment at new HER location.
Research and purchase of new equipment to improve broadcast quality and stability.
DJ Software including our own streaming host and new DJ software, and music library.
Networking, backups and IT Setup solutions.
Emergency Alert System (EAS) solutions, testing, monitoring, logging, reporting.
Website redesign and feature enhancements (including better scheduling, hosting archives, and other programming discovery improvements).
Internal communication software solutions, including calendars, wikis, airtable forms and spreadsheets, tinyurl services,
Email lists, and other as-needed solutions.
Software solutions that specifically advance LPFM goals including Spinitron (for royalty payments), FCC Files, and an operations log book.
