WFU Tutoring Reserves Program
In an effort to continue our mission of providing tutoring services to families and students in WSFC Schools  during the COVID-19 school closings, the Office of Civic & Community Engagement is offering a new program that allows for students to assist with homework help when their schedule allows!

In partnership with the WFU Math Department & Winston Salem State’s Mathematics and Science Education Network Program (MSEN) program, WFU & WSSU students will be able to offer weekly homework assistance on Wednesdays from 5-6 PM via zoom!

We will begin this program in mid-September for the fall semester.

How it works:
-Tutors sign up and attend a virtual 30 min training
-Tutors complete a background check through Sterling Volunteers (cost is $10 dollars)
-Tutors are added to our listserv (reserves list) and are sent the link to sign up on Fridays at 5 PM.
-Tutors sign up via our spreadsheet by Monday at 5 if they are available to tutor that same Wednesday. Not available one Wednesday, don’t sign up!
-On Wednesday, join the zoom room at 4:50 PM to begin!
