Programme HighlightsNowadays, public engagement is an important process for construction projects as it serves to identify the interests and concerns of stakeholders. Young engineers have more opportunities to engage with the general public and they should be equipped with persuasive communication skills to gain support for their projects which are beneficial to the public.
In this workshop, participants will experience:
- Where to focus upon when doing presentation to stakeholders
- Crafting presentation which audiences will connect with
- How to become memorable by speaking with emotion
Apart from the introduction of the fundamentals of persuasive communication, the participants can try out the skills in the in-class practice session.
