National Education Policy 2020 - Compliance Assessment Framework & School Readiness
The focus of this assessment is to ascertain the present status of compliance of the school as regards the guidelines laid down in the National Education Policy 2020. In this respect, it is crucial for the assessors and the school authorities to cooperate and conduct themselves professionally throughout the Assessment process. All the stakeholders in the school need to recognize the thoroughness of the evidence base as well as understand and respect the judgements that emerge. The School Community needs to understand that this Assessment will provide a valuable contribution to its strategy for continuous improvement.

The aim of this Assessment is also to encourage the school managements and leadership to reflect and introspect and align their goals to ensure that the Student Learning Outcomes in the field of Academics and Personality Development are being achieved. They need to realize that School Improvement is not an event but a continual process.

The following 8 Themes have been taken into consideration for assessing the compliance of the schools
1 – Early Childhood Care & Education – The Foundation of Learning
2 – Foundational Literacy and Numeracy
3 – Curtailing dropout rates & Ensuring Universal Access to education at all levels
4 – Curriculum and Pedagogy in Schools: Learning should be Holistic, Integrated, Enjoyable and Engaging
5 – Teachers
6 – Equitable and Inclusive Education: Learning for all
7 – Efficient Resourcing and Effective Governance through School Complexes
8 – Standard Setting and Accreditation for School Education

The following documents would be required to be presented by the respective schools to enable the Assessors to substantiate and authenticate the criteria stated in the Compliance Assessment Framework
