The wait time on the list will depend on how many people leave the club each year and how many people already on the list take up offers of a membership space.

Currently the wait time is roughly a few years.

New/Beginner - New to tennis and a complete novice when it comes to playing

Beginner - I can sustain a short rally from the baseline

Beginner/Intermediate - Though I'm still inconsistent and can't always place the ball, I can sustain a reasonable rally with both forehand and backhand and occasionally come to the net.

Intermediate - I have reliable strokes on both sides, I'm developing some power on my serve and am increasingly confident coming in to the net.

Intermediate/Advanced - I have an all-round game and I have played or could play in the higher divisions in club, university or team tennis.

Advanced - I have a powerful, confident game with successful tactical variation. My serve puts my opponent under pressure.
