Women's Group
Hi! My name is Jennifer Sowers (she/her) and I am a licensed social worker (LCSW-C). There is a lot of pressure put on women these days... a lot of expectations, demands... a lot of laws and judgements on us and on our bodies... a lot of injustices, inequalities, biases, sexism, oppression... It makes sense to feel angry, sad, overwhelmed, frustrated, or lost!

This group will be a space to process life situations, pressures, events, current political and cultural trauma; to vent, receive and provide support; and to discuss resources/action plans, as desired by group members. We will work on self-love, adapting expectations, and creating fulfilling lives. At the end of each session, we will take time to celebrate our womanhood and our feminine power.

This group will be held virtually through Google Meet. This form and Google Meet are HIPAA compliant and confidential. If you would like to be part of a group, please complete this survey in order to be contacted to join a group.

This group is for women+ (she/her/they).
Groups will be 1 hour long, meeting every other week.
Ideally, we will have 5-8 members per group, though this may vary.
Fees: $40 per person, per group.

Do you reside in Maryland? *Due to licensing regulations, I can only work with clients who will be physically located in the jurisdictions I am licensed to practice in. *
