Assistant Group Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a group of children in a childcare setting
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Monitor and assess the progress and development of each child
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Handle behavioral issues and implement behavior management strategies
- Administer first aid when necessary

Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills to effectively manage a group of children
- Experience in toddler care, infant care, or special education is preferred
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices for child development
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to provide first aid in case of emergencies
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Passion for working with children and providing a nurturing environment for their growth and development

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
