We are excited to be offering our full Art Literacy program this year, with monthly lessons in the classrooms. This program depends on the enthusiastic support of grown ups in the classroom to help present slides about artists and art eras, teach art techniques and concepts, and help kids complete a hands-on project to put it all together.
Volunteers are grouped by classroom, and we usually have enough to rotate month to month. As a volunteer, your commitment will usually be a couple of hours per month. You do not have to be available every month- but the more hands we have on deck, the more successful this program is!
