CAPEA is an organization of professors from private and public colleges and universities and leaders from the PK-20 school systems, dedicated to further developing and informing social justice-centered educational leaders. We seek to vitalize the discourse necessary for blending theory and practice in ways consistent with current research and impending projections while also strengthening networks with other professional and public entities for the continued improvement of education in California.

As we move forward in the current Pandemic reality, we must re-envision educational leadership that addresses the racial inequities that continue to exist in our schools and system of education. The CAPEA Spring 2022 Conference invites proposals on leadership that seeks to restructure the current inequitable system that serves our marginalized youth; specifically, those that consider the following; my proposal addresses the following conference strand(s)...select all that apply: *
