The Victoria Disability Resource Centre is developing a Disability Awareness Training program for employers. This involves the development of a curriculum for employers to increase their awareness of and comfort level with addressing disability issues. The primary goal of the program is to aid in the removal of barriers that prevent people with disabilities from becoming employed, and to help create more inclusive work environments.
With this survey we are looking to gain a better perspective from individuals with a range of disabilities, learning about their experiences with employment, in order to create better cross-disability materials to educate employers. The data collected from this survey is anonymous, will not be shared with third parties, and will only be used to help us better tailor our disability awareness training program.
This survey is about 20 questions in length. Feel free to skip any questions you don't know how to answer or don't feel comfortable answering (some questions are required - they are marked as such). If you have any questions or concerns about this survey, require this survey in an alternative format, or have questions about the Disability Awareness Training Program in general please contact us at
