Registration now closed for the 2024 Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp

But, only if you received instructions from her. We open registration around MLK, Jr. Day each year, so please check back Mid-January 2025 if interested in this camp. 



We are excited your child will be able to join us in the Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp this year, running 8am-4pm Monday through Friday (pickup is between 4-5 pm)!! Please follow the instructions and fill out all required fields of this application for each child applicant. Payment of $400 for non-SLU affiliation and $375 for SLU affiliation (with a $25 discount for each additional child per week) is due upon completion of this application.   • Please note that there is a maximum of 20 campers per week. We will try to close the weeks as quickly as they fill, but we apologize if we do not get the application closed quickly enough.

Description of the Camp:
Saint Louis University’s Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp is a week-long program engaging campers in gardening, cooking and nutrition activities. Campers prepare a variety of meals and work with professional chefs, registered dietitians, and master gardeners to learn principles of good nutrition, gardening and a healthy lifestyle. The majority of the camps are designed for children entering 2nd grade through 6th grade with a special Teen’s Only Week and an exciting Junior-Chef Week for children entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Campers journey to local farms and other food-related field trips, encountering first-hand sustainable local agriculture. Each camp includes meal preparation for Campus Kitchen and a Disability Awareness Day, helping campers learn what is involved when someone has a disability – how they adapt to cook and garden independently. 

*Please note: one hundred dollars ($100) of the total tuition is non-refundable. If Gardens to Table Culinary Camp is notified by May 1, 2024 that your child cannot attend the camp, you will receive a refund of money paid, less the $100 non-refundable deposit.

  • Week 4 - June 24-28 (students entering 7th grade and beyond in the fall 2024) - STEM/Food Science
  • Week 5 - July 8-12 (students entering K-3rd grade in the fall 2024) - Color Your Plate Theme                          (*note the cost for this camp is $300 if you opt to pick your child up at 1 pm. Aftercare will cost $25 a day with a max of $100 for the week if you opt for aftercare each day)
  • Week 6 - July 15-19 (students entering 2nd-6th grade in the fall 2024) - Blockbuster Movies Theme
  • Week 7 - July 22-26 (students entering 2nd-6th grade in the fall 2024) - World Tour Theme
  • Week 8 - July 29-August 2 (students entering 2nd-6th grade in the fall 2024) - Space Theme
