This year your child will be receiving a Solon City Schools’ Chromebook to keep at home during remote learning. The Chromebook is an integral part of our instructional program and students and teachers will use them every day as part of their teaching and learning. While the Chromebooks remain the property of Solon City Schools, they will be used by the student throughout the school year.

This agreement will apply to students in all learning environments this year: fully remote as well as parent choice in-person and virtual learning as soon as we are able to do so.

Please be sure you or child picks up their Chromebook during supply pick up times August 21, 24 or 25.

Information about Chromebook Repair and Exchange during remote learning will be sent to you prior to the first day of school. We will have daily Chromebook exchanges so that your child is never without a working device.
