Push Mow Parade 2023 Participant Application
Thank you for your interest in participating in our 2022 Push Mow Parade on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. The event is hosted and organized by the Town of Abita Springs.

Our route will take about one hour from start to finish. We will begin lining up at the Abita Springs Middle School from 10-11:30am. The parade will begin promptly at 12pm. It will exit the Middle School parking lot, go up Main Street, cross over to Level Street, and return to the Middle School parking lot.

The Theme for 2023 will be:

"Lousy Ideas for a New Fast Food" 

Parade entries should be themed to fit with this theme.

Examples of possible floats:
Oyster Ice Cream
Peas R
Rattlesnake Jerky
Roach Krispies

By completing this form, you agree to abide by the following rules and regulations:

1.  This event will occur so long as weather permits. The rain date will be determined closer to the event, if necessary and communicated via the email you provide below.

2.  Event organizers assume no responsibility for any physical loss or damage at any time to the physical property of any participant.  The organizers are under no obligation to provide liability insurance for the personal property of any participant or any claims for personal injury, death, or property damage.

3.  You will indemnify and hold harmless event organizers from any loss, cost, or expense of any sort or nature, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs, and will indemnify and hold the market harmless for any liability to any person on account of any damage to persons or property resulting or occurring by reason of the use and occupancy of a space by a participant, or for the failure of a participant to comply in any respect with or to perform any of the requirements and provisions of these rules and regulations.  Additional fees may be charged if you deviate from these guidelines.
