Prevalence of Pediatric Obstructive Sleep Apnea screening by a sample of orthodontists practicing in Canada and the United States of America
Dear Doctor,

We are inviting you to participate in a survey to evaluate the participation of orthodontists in the screening of Pediatric Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Canada and the USA.

We are conducting this survey to verify how many orthodontists screen for OSA in children, how positive cases are handled, and some demographics associated to this topic. This survey is part of a study developed in the University of Alberta, under ethics number Pro00090896.
This invitation is being sent to all orthodontists who are part of the Canadian Association of Othodontists (CAO) and have their email publicly available in the CAO website and those USA-based orthodontists who have consented to being contacted by the AAO via email.

The survey consists of 26 multiple of single choice questions. It should take you 5-7 minutes to complete.

No risk has been identified for your participation in this study and your information will remain confidential. No personal data that may be used to identify you will be released. All the collected information will be analyzed together. No individual responses will be showcased. The information declared in the questionnaire will be stored anonymously. As per University of Alberta policies we will keep the collected data stored for 5 years after the end of the study.

Your participation is completely voluntary, and your responses will only be saved when you click SUBMIT at the end of the survey.

If you have any concerns about your rights as a study participant, you may contact the Research Ethics Office, at (780) 492-2615. This office has no affiliation with the study investigators.

We appreciate your time and consideration and thank you in advance for participating in this study.
