Paddle Cape Cod MA is a kayak and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rental business located in Eastham. PCCMA has a primary hub location we rent watercraft for customers to load onto their own vehicles from, at which the delivery driver also operates. We also offer guided tours! Job Responsibilities for: ALL

Report for assigned shift on time and properly attired

Communicate with guests and receive feedback, ensuring customer satisfaction

Handle any guest complaint either individually or by enlisting help of a supervisor

Be professional, exhibiting positive behavior, speech, and attitude

Work with other team members efficiently and completes side work

Understand Paddle Cape Cod MA goals, policies, and procedures

Clearly understand their responsibilities and preform expectations

Make suggestions on how Paddle Cape Cod MA can improve across the board

Job Responsibilities for: Hub Worker (must be 14 years old or older)

Efficiently uses technology to manage watercraft reservations and create rentals

Answer business calls and responds to texts quickly

Attempts to up-sell whenever the opportunity presents itself

Clean and organize workspace (indoors and outdoors)

Clean watercraft and other Paddle Cape Cod MA property

Be responsible for opening/ closing

Job Responsibilities for: Delivery Drivers (must be 17 years old or older with a valid drivers license)

Exercise caution and maintain absolute control while driving the business’s vehicle obeying all traffic laws and ordinances

Deliver and pickup watercraft from ponds, bodies of water, and customers personal property

May work in Hub Worker capacity

Job Responsibilities for: Tour Guides (must be 18 years old or older)

Be excited about the opportunity to work on the water, sharing the kayaking experience with guests and locals alike

Be able to be knowledgeable about Cape Cod history, wildlife and the Cape Cod Natural Seashore, climate change, and local opportunities for tourists- Paddle Cape Cod MA provided literature for your study

Must be CPR/First Aid certified- Paddle Cape Cod MA will pay 50% for your instruction after successful hiring

Experience in kayaking (recreational or professional) required

Job Qualifications for: ALL

Experience: Experience in customer service and/or outdoor activities preferred (not required)

Knowledge: Learned through Paddle Cape Cod Policies and Procedures, pricing, and rental software/ register procedures (FlyBook)

Skills: Able to use FlyBook for customer transactions, Exemplary customer service skills, Able to multi-task efficiently

Abilities: Able to complete basic math and money handling, Possesses an eye for quality and efficiency, Able to assess conflicts with customers and attempts to resolve and seeks the assistance of Supervisor when necessary.
