The Inner Pup Veterinary Assistance Application
Thanks to the generous support of Petco Love, The Inner Pup is pleased to offer Veterinary Assistance to families and pets in need of veterinary care.

The Inner Pup’s Veterinary Assistance Grants are available as a one time benefit for families experiencing financial hardship who are in need of veterinary help for their pet. This grant is available for non-routine and non-emergency care. We apologize, we cannot help with routine care, for example, annual vaccinations or dentals, nor can we assist with emergencies.  If you believe that your pet's life is in immediate danger, seek immediate assistance from a licensed Veterinarian.

Proof of low income is required. Owners will be responsible for a $20 co-pay when they visit the vet. 

We are a New Orleans based non-profit and our partner vets are also based in New Orleans Metro Area. You however, can be from any Parish to utilize our services, but please be aware you will need to travel to New Orleans to utilize the funding. Our grants are reserved for future veterinary care; we are not able to pay for existing veterinary bills. Grant awards are up to $250.

Please be sure to email over your proof of low income so that we can review your application! If you do not have access to email, you can text The Inner Pup at 504.321.3442. All questions can be sent to info@theinnerpup.org

Please be aware that if you receive a grant and no show to your appointment or do not use the grant funding, you will not be eligible for future grant services.

Grant applications are reviewed on every Wednesday - be sure to submit your proof of low income ASAP so we can process your application in a timely manner!
