Northern Valley Youth Orchestras has  two full orchestras rehearsing this  season, involving string, wind, brass and percussion students aged approximately 12 to 21. Section coaches are needed in all areas, to reinforce proper symphonic tone and playing style and assist with challenging passagework. Sectionals this fall will be largely done through online platforms and creation of a series of at-home practice videos, designed to support musicians who must miss rehearsal for illness. Some in-person rehearsal coaching and moderating Zoom-in rehearsal participants also is needed!  Filling in the form is not a guarantee of work; it simply informs us you are interested in being contacted with a contract offer if there is a coaching need in your area of expertise.
