Study Abroad Participant Eligibility
The ideal candidate is a PCC student, faculty, staff, or alumni in good standing with the school. All travelers must be 18 years of age by the start of the study abroad trip.  Community members are welcome to participate.  PCC considers international travel to be an essential aspect of being well- educated in the 21st century, and we seek participants who understand the importance of travel abroad.

TRAVEL DETAILS

The travel fees will cover the LAND ONLY cost of the education abroad program. No per diem or mileage will be covered. The participant will be responsible for purchasing their own AIRFARE and PASSPORT. The participant's flight must arrive in Dublin, Ireland, by 10 AM on Sunday, March 24, 2024.  

The participant is responsible for beverages and some meals while traveling to and returning from the study abroad trip as well as any beverages and meals not covered by the travel program (see below). The participant is responsible for any baggage fees associated with flying. The participant should have some funds with them during the trip for incidentals and personal interests.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

1. Participant must be a current PCC student, faculty, staff, alumni, or community member in good standing with the college.

2. The participant must be in good physical health, be able to walk several miles, and carry their own luggage. Medical insurance is required prior to departure. Participants will be asked to complete a health form in the weeks before departure.

3. Participants who are U.S. citizens must have a passport valid at least 6 months after the return date of the chosen program. If you do not currently have a passport, please apply for one immediately: passports.state.gov.  Foreign students are responsible for checking with their home country's Visa requirements before enrolling in the Study Abroad program.

4. The participant is required to read all materials provided by PCC Global in preparation for or follow up to the study abroad program and will be required to take part in all the scheduled group activities while traveling.

5. The participant must assume responsibility for obtaining and bearing the costs of obtaining trip cancellation insurance, passports, recommended vaccinations, and any other travel-related documents. PCC Global will supply helpful information to assist with the necessary documentation.

6. Participant must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to travel departure.  

7. Your typed name at the end of the form will be confirmation that you have read and provided the correct information to the best of your knowledge for each section.
