Toronto Raptor's very own Kelly Olynyk and NBA and international shooting/skills development coach, David Nurse will be coming to The York School October 4th to October 6th.
Kelly Olynyk, currently playing for the Toronto Raptors is in his 11th year with the NBA. He has had the opportunity to start his professional career with the Dallas Mavericks and has moved on to play for the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, and Utah Jazz before making his way to Toronto. He is also a part of the Canadian national team roster, representing Canada at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Mr. Nurse is one of the top basketball shooting coaches in the world. As the CEO of Perfect Shots Basketball, he leads one of the best shooting skills training programs internationally. He has worked with the top NBA talent and thousands of high school and youth teams throughout the United States and in countries on every single continent. He has worked with over 100 NBA players including Domatas Sabonis, Norm Powell, and OG Anunoby. Coach Nurse will have an on court Skill Development Session that will cover concepts, drills, differentiation for developing athletes from U9 to Varsity.
