In order to more wholeheartedly advocate for Autism Acceptance month, we'd like to compile stories from members of the Stitch People Community relating to autism, primarily from autistic individuals and those with autism. Please share with us your perspective. We look forward to hearing your stories and learning from you.

The Stitch People team wants to hear you. That is our primary concern. We also intend to compile the stories shared with us into a free, downloadable e-book for the Stitch People Community, should you choose to share your story more widely. You will have the option to opt in.

We will ask for your personal information to communicate with you directly in the event we need to (such as clarifying broken or mis-typed links, alerting you to our publishing of the e-book, etc.) No direct contact information will be published in the e-book or shared anywhere else.

By default, we will not include your name with your story unless you specifically select the option to share your name. You will also have the opportunity to share any other information you'd like to - instagram handles, website URL's, etc.

You are welcome to share as much or as little as you'd like. We welcome the true and genuine expression of emotions and feelings, and any personal stories and experiences you wish to relate. In light of our #1 guideline for the Stitch People Community ("Be Excellent to Each Other"), we will not tolerate attacks, rudeness, sweeping generalizations or assumptions, or combative language directed at specific individuals or groups of people, and reserve the right to remove that type of language before publishing.
