Topic : How to improve your running gait and reduce the risk of running injuries.
Who is this workshop for :
Beginners to experienced runners who want to improve their running gait and enjoy running. For those who want to run faster, longer with the same effort. People who do other activities will find this relevant as running is part of most sports.
What you will learn :
What are the major causes of running injuries? How can you avoid them?
What is the most biomechanically efficient running gait? How can I achieve that?
How do I strengthen my core to improve my posture for daily living and running?
The do and don'ts - What running drills are useful and what are a waste of time?
Hands-on practice and core exercises (ask a buddy to join you for this workshop and practice together!)

Covid19 safe practices
Due to Covid19, we are limiting the class size to max 20, and will be following safe distancing practices.
1. You need to pre-register and fill in a declaration at the Sports Hub Library before the class starts. Please arrive at 3:45pm
2. Please bring along your Trace together token or mobile app and register before starting class
3. Bring along a small hand towel to lay on the ground for exercises
4. Wear your mask during the sit-down presentation and after your hands-on exercises
5. Be in your running attire as you will be doing some outdoor exercises, running drills, and going for a short run (less than 1km)
