The cost for a name plate is $50.00 and may be purchased by anyone to honor any American who has honorably served or is currently serving in the United States Armed Services. The Veteran need not be a resident of Spencer County nor the State of Kentucky to be honored. You may purchase an inscribed name plate as a permanent remembrance and tribute to that special someone who served or is currently serving our country.

Each plate has 3 lines of inscription. The first line consists of the veteran’s name, the second line is rank, rate, or unit if space allows (abbreviations are recommended), the branch of service (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard) and the third line is the years of service (War Service and/or Ship Service may be included if space allows).

If the person is still serving, just list the date service began. Broken service can be denoted as per sample.

The information will automatically be centered on the plate - it is not necessary for you to center the information on the line.

Symbols as listed below (Death Due to Service. Missing in Action, Prisoner of War, Purple Heart) will be added by engraver.
