Dining Out for Life 2021 will take place on Tuesday, April 20th. See below for requirements to be a virtual host:
1) A Virtual Host is an individual or group with a lot of community connections, whether it be friends, family, coworkers, clients or other groups.
2) You/your group will be assigned to represent one of our participating restaurants and will encourage your circles of influence to commit to dine with that restaurant , whether dining in, doing takeout, or getting curbside or delivery.
3) You will be asked to create an account on our fundraising website, and will invite people to commit to dine out through there (we will give you a guide on how to do this). This is so we can better organize the event since a large part of it will be virtual. It will also allow you to easily invite others and track who's dining with you!
4) You will be asked to communicate with your assigned restaurant a few times leading up to the day. To introduce yourself and work with them to handle increased diners (will be given a walkthrough on how to do this).
5) Note that we try our best to get you your preferred area and restaurant! If you have restaurant contacts, we could use all the help we can get! Let us know if you'd like to help recruit restaurants (option below).
6) Unlike in prior years, we will not ask you to commit to be at the restaurant the entire meal. Due to COVID, you may dine out for an hour, or even pick-up takeout instead. Whatever works for you, as long as you purchase a meal to support your assigned restaurant and get others to do so in whatever way is comfortable for you and them!
