COVID19 Language Interpretation & Translation Volunteer Sign Up - Chicago, Cook County, & Illinois Related
Critical news is coming out by the hour around the coronavirus. Physical distancing is important but it is vital that we show up for one another, especially those who are most at risk and who have the fewest protections and social safety nets.

Making sure information from the state, county, city and local mutual aid/community groups are language accessible is one concrete way we can do that.

This is a form to collect volunteers who are able to potentially provide translation and interpretation of news around services that will be offered. Almost every day we are seeing different interventions start to be offered to support folks. We know that the City and County are looking for better ways to get information to our Asian immigrant communities. We want to coordinate both with officials and grassroots groups.
