Monitoring for Monarchs

Join Harris Center ecologists Brett Amy Thelen and Karen Seaver to survey for monarch eggs and caterpillars in a Harris Center-conserved milkweed patch in Peterborough. This morning of community science is offered in partnership with the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project, an annual research effort aimed at understanding and protecting monarch butterflies throughout North America. No experience necessary! Come prepared for sun, ticks, and other biting insects. Rain date: July 21. 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Peterborough.
