FSCI 2020 Birds of a Feather Sign Up
Got an idea you want to explore with others after FSCI is over? See a way to bring your FSCI experience out in the world? Got a group of friends who came together over a common passion?

FSCI Birds of a Feather groups are a way to keep the momentum going and change the world.

Throughout your week at FSCI, you're going to hear new ideas and meet new people. Why not consider working with a small group on something you can take away: a tool, an approach, a commitment to advocacy.  The FSCI Birds of a Feather program provides a formal channel for you to take these other opportunities and develop a community or activity that extends beyond the final day of our institute.

There are two ways to create a Birds of a feather group:

1. Join the Birds of a feather Slack Channel and reach out to others to organize your group.  Once you have a topic and a time to meet create a birds of a feather slack channel and log your Birds of a Feather group on the BoF meeting registry.  Instructions for how to set up your own BoF group can be found here:
https://www.force11.org/fsci/2020/fsci-2020-birds-feather-bof-sessions

2. Use this sheet to propose a "Birds of a Feather" group during the week. All you need is your name, a potential title, and a brief description of what you want to do after you leave FSCI. Propose the topic and time and the BoF moderator will reach out to you to help schedule.

This is a great way to turn your discussions and new friendships into action!

What are you going to change?

Starting on Tuesday August 3rd we will begin actively promoting the Birds of a Feather program.   FSCI participants can sign up for Birds of a Feather Groups to meet throughout the conference.
