PLEASE NOTE: Filling out this form DOES NOT guarantee you a space at First Fridays!
This will be a juried market: all entries will be judged for quality, uniqueness and price range in order to qualify to sell at the market. Applications must be submitted at least one week prior to the event you wish to participate in. The sooner your application is submitted, the better chance for acceptance. Although applicants may choose the dates they wish to participate, the First Friday on Fourth Committee reserves the right to refuse or change the dates.

Vendor Regulations Check List

Vendors may set up free of charge the first time, but we do ask a $10.00 donation per event after that, to help cover the costs of such a fun community festival!

Please check the following to acknowledge understanding of the guidelines: *

Stated fee is for a 12’x 12’ space. This year, we will be charging per space that your booth takes up. Spaces are limited and you MUST let the organizers know whether or not you will attend so that your space is guaranteed.

Market participants are responsible for supplying their own tables, chairs, tents, displays and materials.

It’s mandatory for all Participants to unload, remove your vehicle/trailer from site and then set up. Setting up displays while unloading slows down traffic in the unloading area and causes unnecessary congestion.

Setup can begin no sooner than 2 hours before opening. Participants arriving less than 30 minutes before opening may be turned away without a refund.

Make sure you have enough products to sell throughout the event as well as change.

Electric is NEVER guaranteed. Please note your needs on the form below. Quiet generators are recommended.

Since it is an evening event, vendors are asked to bring lighting, preferably battery operated.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted.

Be prepared for a variety of weather and to stay until closing. No early tear down on any day of the event is acceptable unless authorized by the Market Committee.

A booth number will be assigned the week of the event and sent out along with a vendor map.

All participants are responsible for ensuring their booth, equipment, and displays, are presented and stored in a manner safe for all patrons to avoid risk of injury or accidents. Your displays, merchandise and other items must stay within the margins of the booth space.

All participants are expected to present themselves and their booths with a clean, attractive and favorable appearance.

Each participant is responsible for removing any trash/debris in and around your booth area throughout the event. Please bring your own trash containers/bags.

Participants must set up their booths in a manner that can withstand winds, rain and other problem weather and must be prepared to stay unless notified by the Market Committee.

Vendors may park in any of the nearby public parking lots

Vendors shall be responsible for their own food permit from anywhere in the state of Ohio or Jefferson County, liability insurance, and required fire extinguisher.

Although security is provided during the event, neither the City of Steubenville nor The Harmonium Project nor their staff or volunteers will be responsible for any loss or damage incurred during the event.
