Aqsa School Learning Preference for 2020-2021 school year
Assalamu Alaikum Aqsa Families,

Inshallah you have had a relaxing and safe summer and a blessed and healthy Eid Al-Adha.  Alhamdullah, our first day back to school, Monday, August 24th, is fast approaching.   In order to best prepare for the opening of the 2020-2021 school year, it is imperative that we have every child registered.  If you have not already done so, please register your child online or in-person today. Our business office is open Tuesday -Friday from 10-2 pm in order to accommodate your needs.

Additionally, in response to the previous parent survey, Aqsa School will be offering two learning options for the 2020-2021 school year:

OPTION 1: On-site, in-person learning.   OPTION 1:  This option is for students returning to the building for in- person instruction.  They must wear masks and follow all safety guidelines and protocol. On-site will be in- person but will be shortened hours with the school day beginning at 8:20am.

OPTION 2: On-line  remote, via live streaming of in- person instruction. OPTION 2: This option is for students choosing to learn from home.  All the in-class instruction will be live-streamed which means students will follow the same schedule at home as they would in- person. The teachers will wear microphones which will project their voice and a camera will project the classroom.  Students on-line will be able to engage in the classroom discussions.

In order to properly prepare for the unprecedented year ahead, we need your learning preference for every child attending Aqsa School.
Please complete the survey attached to indicate your learning preference choices.  Please fill in for each of your child(ren) attending Aqsa School.
Please submit your survey no later than FRIDAY, AUGUST 7th at 5pm. Thank you!

Aqsa School is considering making Friday a fully- remote day of learning in order to give teachers a planning day, students a less rigorous learning day and an end of week deep cleaning day.  It also allows for a virtual Friday Jummah Khutbah for students in grades 6-12 to participate in remotely and safely. Are you in favor of a 4 day week in person and 1 day remote in the week? ( This would apply to online and in person students) *
Our school day will begin at 8:20 am, however we will have a shortened day.  If we end earlier than 3:30 pm, will you require after-school care at a minimal cost? *
If you answered yes to the previous question, how often will you require the care
Clear selection
Students can be dropped off as early as 8:05 am.  We are surveying to see how many would desire before-school care beginning at 7:30 am.  This would be an additional fee.  If available is this something you utilize and pay for? *
