We are now taking registrations for year 7-8 children to trial for the Ashhurst School teams to compete in the annual Manawatu Rugby, Mark Donaldson Rippa Rugby tournament being held in Palmerston North on Monday, April 4 from 9.00am - 2.30pm.

Manawatu Rugby are requiring a valid vaccine pass for children 12 years, 3 months and over to be able to run this event. Due to this requirement, we are asking parents and caregivers to register their child/children for the trial process and to confirm that if their child/children are over the age of 12 years and 3 months at the time of the tournament, they will be able to participate by having a valid vaccine pass.

Manawatu Rugby will run 3 separate tournaments on the same day so that they are able to run this event safely and within the Red Light rules and guidelines. Only the team and their coach are allowed at the venue.

We will be entering 2 teams into this event. Teams will consist of 10 players, 5 girls and 5 boys.

Please note that the Covid 19 Red Light guidelines and rules in relation to sports for schools and independent organisations are subject to change. We will keep you informed of any changes as soon as we receive them.
