The conference will be held at April 21st 2022 as a hybrid event in Katowice (GMT/UCT+2 time zone) and we are able to provide English translations (from Polish to English) on the online transmission.

We will be talking about the war in Ukraine, humanitarian crisis on the border between Belarus and Poland, pandemic COVID-19 and climate crisis. We have ensured that our speakers address each of these topics and what they mean for volunteers and those working with them.

During the conference, you will be able to learn about the good practices of voluntary activities, and listen to inspiring presentations by activists and volunteers from all over Poland. Together, we will consider how these crises affect each other and we will talk about the volunteer support system in Poland.
We also encourage you to get acquainted with extensive surveys have been carried out as a part of the project, the purpose of which was to analyze the attitudes and prospects of volunteering and the volunteers themselves, in particular volunteering in crisis situations - the research report in English is available at:
