2022-2023 STO Application (Deadline February 28, 2022)
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  (You must have your troupe director recommendation, parent support and flip grid all complete by the deadline date)  DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS FEBRUARY 28, 2022

All candidates must:
* Be selected by their theatre teacher to run. Only two candidates from each school can apply
*.     Register and attend the entire Conference in person or virtually. Attend activities and events Wednesday beginning at 4pm, Thursday, beginning at 4pm, Friday, all day and Saturday, all day and check in with the STO Board Coordinators Marwood Forte and Tiffany Joy May at designated times to be determined. Those who are virtual will attend a 6:30pm Zoom meeting on Wednesday and your other check in times will be determined at the Wednesday meeting.

*      Fill out this Google Form Application answering the questions explaining their qualifications and explaining why they want to be a part of the STO Board

*      NEW THIS YEAR:  Select which STO board you will be running for, STO Board or STO Adjunct Board or if you wish to be considered for either/both. (See description/expectations below)
           -STO Board: You are expected to be committed to the NST Board duties as requested, will be available and attend all festivals,  and will attend all scheduled meetings including but not limited to all festival "set up" days and the STO retreat in late July or early Aug.
           -STO Adjunct Board: You are expected to assist with conferences, discuss issues, policies and ideas, but are not able to or required to attend all meetings. The adjunct member is welcome to attend any or all meetings and events as they are able and to voice their ideas and concerns. The adjunct member is still an integral part of the board and will be a part of all festivals.

          -Introduce yourself, (Name, school, troupe number and grade)
          -Answer questions 4 & 5 from the narrative section of this application
          -Take 60 to 90 seconds to show us your personality, you can do or say whatever you wish that will give some insight as to "who" you are.    

* Attend the regularly scheduled STO 'Meet the Board' and set up meeting on Wednesday, March 2nd beginning at 4pm.  We will have an official in person and zoom meeting at 6:30pm during dinner

*    Check in with the STO liaisons when instructed to do so either virtually or in person.

All candidates will be notified on Saturday prior to the conference closing whether or not they were selected to serve on the 2022-2023 STO Board.  The new 2022-2023 STO Board will be announced at the final awards ceremony.
