One of the aims of the ASSC meetings is to allow researchers to gain a background in areas that they may know little about. The Program Committee invites proposals for tutorials on a range of topics in consciousness science, to be held during the first day of the conference. Tutorial presenters are expected to present not only their own material, but to give a broader tutorial overview and to encourage discussion, debate, and audience participation. Each tutorial is intended to last approximately three hours with a short break in the middle. Tutorial presenters will receive an honorarium (one honorarium per tutorial, not per presenter). There are typically 1-4 presenters (the main organizer and 1-3 others).  If fewer than 10 participants register for the tutorial, the tutorial will have to be cancelled in advance of the meeting.
