This waiver pertains to 2022 Godiva Country Series races held on Sept. 7 (Durham), Sept. 14 (Chapel Hill), Sept. 21 (Durham), and Sept. 28 (Chapel Hill). I understand that running a race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by the decision of the race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running or walking in this event including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather including high heat and humidity, and conditions of the running surface; all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I for myself and anyone now or hereafter entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Carolina Godiva Track Club and all sponsors, their representatives and successors, Duke University or the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising from my participation in this event. I grant permission to all the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recording or other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
