BEFORE filling out this form, please read and UNDERSTAND everything below.
ALL students that WILL be attending Marine City High School in the 2023-2024 School Year as 9th THROUGH 12TH GRADERS are invited to fill out the online form to apply for CREW.
Crew not only works with power tools, paint, paint brushes to BUILD the set, but crew will also be helping with lobby decoration. Crew also works in various backstage roles during the actual running of the show.
Please note that THIS form is for students interested in CREW in Mariner Drama's December 1-2, 2023 production of Roald Dahl's The BFG.
Required tech week dates run from Saturday, November 18th through Sunday, December 3, 2023 (STRIKE DATE).
YOU CAN STILL WORK as we can be flexible to allow 1-2 people out to work occasionally. To avoid crew members, needlessly standing around, we are going to not put too many people on crew, so if you will be gone A LOT please do not apply. If you start missing a ton of tech, with our smaller crew, we will let you go.
Conversely, the tech week schedule will not require you to be down at the PAC during EVERY SINGLE DAY. Our goal this year is to waste LESS time.
ALSO, if you have LOW grades, or are struggling, this is NOT the show to be a part of. Fair to low grades will result in immediate removal from this production.
Please note that NO absences to tech week rehearsals will be allowed beyond what is stated and approved. Any potential absences MUST be identified on this form. Mariner Drama works alongside our choir, band, and art programs to insure minimal conflicts.
FORMS NEED TO BE FILLED OUT IMMEDIATELY, as we are starting THIS SATURDAY (11/18/23).
Please be aware that if you are currently receiving a D+ or lower in any of your classes that you SHOULD NOT apply. Eligibility will be a huge factor in determining who is part of this show.
