In this codelab we will use Flutter to get started building beautiful apps, with its rich set of Material Design and Cupertino (iOS) widgets and behaviors. Your users will love your app’s natural look and feel, because Flutter implements platform-specific scrolling, navigational patterns, fonts, and more. You’ll feel powerful and productive with Flutter’s functional-reactive framework and our extremely fast hot reloads on devices and emulators. (edited)

In this codelab, you’ll learn how to use Firebase to easily create web applications by implementing and deploying a chat client using Firebase products and services.
What you’ll learn:
- Sync data using Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage for Firebase.
- Authenticate your users using Firebase Auth.
- Deploy your web app on Firebase Hosting.
- Send notifications with Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Collect your web app’s performance data

About the lecturer:
Tom Mladenov, Engineering Lead & GDG Sofia organizer
As an engineering lead for web projects, he spends most of his 9-5 time working with Angular. Apart from that he reads, experiments, teaches and spreads the word for other exciting technologies such as Flutter, Kotlin, Go, Firebase and Google Cloud Platform. Outside the office, he prays for deep snow, a waxed snowboard and a working lift.
