The Rule of Law: What do you have to do with it?
Join us this October 13 for a primer with U.S. Embassy Pristina's INL Director Shawn Waddoups for a discussion about the role of both government and citizens in strengthening the rule of law in Kosovo, and what the United States is doing to help.

Description of the event:
The rule of law is fundamental to a well-functioning democracy, but is fragile and requires active citizen participation. The U.S. State Department's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) provides assistance to countries around the world that are working to improve law enforcement, justice institutions, corrections systems; and provides civil society grants to help empower citizens to demand and access justice.
