Chester Upland School District's Return to Learn Family Program Selection Questionnaire
January 4, 2021
Dear Chester Upland School District's Families:
Chester Upland School District (CUSD) is preparing for our phased school reopening commencing late January 2021. To prepare for this transition, we need accurate information regarding which students will attend classes via a hybrid, full remote, or a digital option. It is important that each family answer the questions below so we can best prepare to meet you and your child’s learning experience for the remainder of the 2020-2021 academic year.
In an effort to ensure that we adequately plan and meet all state and federal guidelines and protocols as it relates to health and safety for in person learning, we will begin with a phased reopening starting with some special student populations resuming on January 26, 2021. The remaining students will continue to learn remotely until early February. The early grades and middle and high school students will have the choice of hybrid, full remote or digital options commencing February 8, 2021 and February 16, 2021. In mid January, in a subsequent correspondence, you will receive additional information regarding your child’s grade level in person learning schedule. These dates are subject to change based on guidance from the Chester County Health Department and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Best regards,
