IJHS #IASDHopeMoonshot: Parent/Guardian Permission Form
The Readiness Institute at Penn State, in collaboration with Global Moonshots in Education, is collecting messages of hope from students, educators, and members of the global community and then sending those messages to the moon to create a lasting reminder that the hopes of today can become the reality of tomorrow.

These hopes will then be saved on an SD card, which will be placed in a durable storage capsule that has been created for space travel. In 2021, this capsule will be delivered to the moon’s surface on the Peregrine Lunar Lander, built by Astrobotic Technology, Inc., a space robotics company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Hope Moonshot is collecting hopes using an online form until the submission deadline of January 22, 2021.

Students under the age of 18 need permission to participate from their parent(s) or guardian(s).

Thank you for considering providing your permission for your child/ren's participation.  Please reply by midnight Wednesday 20 January so that the link to the hope form can be emailed to your child's school email address in time for him or her to submit it by the Friday deadline.

Once the hopes have been sent to the moon, every time we look into the night sky, we’ll be reminded of what it is that we’re hoping for and how our actions can contribute to the greater good of the community and future-readiness.
