Welcome to the Giving Gap Submission Form for Black-Founded Nonprofits.
Black-founded nonprofits stand as a formidable force, armed with strategies that champion racial equality and justice, while validating the profound experiences of Black communities. But yet, only a mere fraction of the $450 billion donated by Americans every year finds its way into the hands of Black organizations. Giving Gap exists to empower donors and funders to actively explore and support Black-founded nonprofits by connecting them to causes they care about. Our goal is to ensure Black nonprofits receive the recognition, resources, and opportunities they deserve to forge a brighter future for all.

To be eligible for the Giving Gap platform, an organization must be 1) an incorporated or fiscally-sponsored 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in good standing with the IRS; 2) based in the United States; 3) founded by a person or the majority of a collective of founders who identify as Black; 4) have a mission that mobilizes positive action for Black people and communities; and 5) have an active website with an URL link for donations.

If you match the above criteria, please submit to our database using the form below. Each submission is vetted to ensure alignment with our mission, so please ensure information is complete and spelled checked. Our team will contact you if we have any follow-up questions.

Before completing, check the Giving Gap website to see if your organization is already listed. DO NOT use this form to make updates to a listing. Contact hello@givinggap.org to make changes or if you need help submitting the form.
