Are you a youth activist in the Pioneer Valley interested in ensuring legal gender equality for all?
Then you should join the Young Feminist Party Amherst (youngfeministparty.org). We have chapters nationwide! Our chapter is centered in Amherst, MA, with many members all across the Pioneer Valley. We are a youth-led intersectional movement that believes in fighting for everyone’s fundamental human rights regardless of the gender they identify by. You can view our website here.

The Young Feminist Party's mission is to enact the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) into the constitution, as we have seen Generation Z is unstoppable, and no matter how old are you, you can use your voice and experiences to make change. We must “be the change you wish to see in the world.”- Mahatma Gandhi.
We have bi-weekly meetings on Thursdays at 8:00, using Google Meet. During these meetings, we discuss our next steps and update each other on what we have accomplished each week.

We are divided into separate teams devoted to different aspects of our chapter. Outreach Team focuses on recruitment and amplification, Social Media Team manages our social media accounts and does further amplification through social media platforms. Political Actions works on supporting laws and other political things that go towards gender equality whereas Finance Team handles the money and our bank account. Creative team focuses on activism through art.

We also generally have a few side projects running which you can learn about at chapter meetings.

Creative Team makes creative content for social media, flyers, events we host and comes up with icebreakers for our chapter meetings.

Social Media Team represents GR on all social media platforms.

Finance Team handles all finance matters, and fundraising events.

Outreach Team works to recruit new members, handles membership sheets, posters, emails, and introductions of new members to the rest of the chapter.

Political Action Team works on organizing actions and events the chapter hosts.
