About SPIF:
Suicide Prevention India Foundation ("SPIF") is a section 8, not-for-profit company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013. Our registered office is at 53 CK Gardens, 1st floor, Thomas Town Post, Bengaluru, Karnataka (PIN - 560084). Set up in 2017, SPIF has partnered with the QPR Institute, the world leader in Gatekeeper Training, to train Gatekeepers in India. It also provides a platform for research, advocacy, awareness building, and content creation in the mental health and suicide prevention space.
Terms and Conditions:
- Only Indian Nationality Individuals who are 18 or above can donate to SPIF.
- Payments are to be made in Indian Rupees (INR) only.
- Donor Information collected with the help of this Google Form will not be shared or sold to third parties and will be compliant with the applicable data privacy laws. It may be used by SPIF for internal research and analytics, fundraising operations, and communicating with donors in the future.
- Donor Information (Name, contact details, PAN ID Number, and residential address) will be retained as per the applicable tax laws and regulations. The information may also be disclosed to an authorized agency in accordance with the provisions of the applicable law.
- SPIF will send an acknowledgment receipt and 80G Tax Exemption Certificate to the donor once the donation amount has been received in the organization's bank account.
- SPIF uses the PayUMoney payment gateway solution for soliciting donations. After filling out the form, the donor will be requested to open the PayUMoney website for completing the transaction. The terms and conditions listed here do not apply to donor activity on the PayUMoney website. We recommend our donors to read the privacy policy, and terms and conditions listed on PayUMoney's website before sharing any confidential information.
- SPIF will only get the following information about the donor from PayUMoney: Name, phone number, email address, and purpose of donation. Information provided by PayUMoney will only be used to confirm the transaction.
- Donations made will solely be used towards supporting SPIF and its activities such as gatekeeper training, suicide prevention app development, and research in relation to student mental health.
- SPIF reserves the right to forfeit any donation made by a donor if it is found that the donor made a misrepresentation or has provided inaccurate, wrong, and fraudulent information.
- Donors are requested to reach out to donations@spif.in for grievance redressal.
