Sachem’s Head Yacht Club - 2023 Dock & Rack Registration Form

This form is to reserve a Seasonal SHYC Rack Space or Dock Space. Rates listed below.

Rack Rates:
- Optimist ($125)
- Laser ($125)
- BIC ($125)
- Kayak ($125)
- Paddleboard ($75) - top rack spots only
- Youth/Kids Kayak ($75) - bottom rack spots on Opti Dock only

Dock Spot Rates - assigned first to returning spot holders (all spots for inflatables/rowboats are full):
- Privately owned 420 or FEVA ($175)
- Privately owned sailboat NOT used in sailing program ($400)
- Small Boat/Inflatable with or without motor ($400)

Assignments will be on a first come, first served basis by date of Google Dock Form, with priority given to*:
1) Boats used in the SHYC JR Sailing and Racing Programs
2) Returning Lasers, Kayaks, and Paddleboards (if form received by June 1st)
3) Returning Dock Spot holders
4) Remaining open Rack/Dock spots assigned in order of receipt of Google Form (subject to availability

Please make sure you name is on your boat in a visible location. We will provide you with a numbered SHYC Dock/Rack sticker to be prominently displayed on the boat. Your SHYC club account will be billed for rack and dock spaces.

*Please note, except for boats used in the JR Sailing Program, we may need to limit the total number of spaces per family membership. We may not be able to accommodate all requests for spots on the DOCK.

RACK BOATS: Describe the boat(s) you are keeping in a Rack Spot. Include name of boat, color, hull number (if available) and other details to help with identification. Please provide detail on EACH boat.

LIMITED DOCK SPOTS: Most likely there will be NO new 2023 dock spots open, as priority reservations are given to those who had a boat on the dock last summer. Only one non-sailboat per family membership on the dock. Contact Whitney Peterson with questions, and/or include detailed information about your boat here (type, length, color, engine HP, manufacturer, etc.) For those claiming the same spot from last summer, please also indicate/describe your location from last summer (and include your boat details).
