Sydenkoulu – Place of Becomings järjestää kesällä 2020 neljän viikon mittaisen kokeellisen ja yhteisöllisen Kesäkoulun. Pilottiprojekti on suunnattu kestäviä olemassaolon tapoja ja omaa toimijuuttaan etsiville täysi-ikäisille. Koulu on yhteisöllinen leiri, joka järjestetään 22.6.–20.7.2020 Maskussa maaseudulla, noin 40 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Turun keskustasta. Osallistujaksi voi tulla koko neljän viikon ajalle, tai kouluun on mahdollista osallistua myös yksittäisille viikoille. Kouluympäristönä toimii vanhan kartanon pihapiiri rakennuksineen, ja leirin ajan osallistujat majoittuvat ulkona teltoissa tai muissa vastaavissa leiriolosuhteissa.

Tämä lomake on Kesäkouluun hakemista varten ja kartoitamme sillä tässä vaiheessa huomioitavia tietoja. Vastaathan huolella kaikkien kohtien jokaiseen kysymykseen. Tarkemmat terveystiedot (allergiat, sairaudet yms.) kerätään valituilta osallistujilta myöhemmin.


Teemme ensimmäiset osallistujavalinnat 31.3.2020 mennessä tällä lomakkeella saapuneiden hakemusten perusteella.

Sydenkoulu - Place of Becomings organizes a four-week long experimental and communal Summer School in the summer 2020. This pilot project is aimed at adults searching for sustainable ways of existence and their own role as an active agent. The school is a communal camp which will take place from June 22nd until July 20th, 2020 in the countryside in Masku, a 40 minutes' drive from the center of Turku, Finland. You can participate in the Summer School for its whole duration, or it is possible to join for individual weeks.
The school environment is on the grounds of an old manor and its accompanying structures, and for the duration of the camp participants will be housed outside in tents or similar camping conditions.

This form is for applying to the Summer School, and we are using it to map the information we need to consider at this stage. Please carefully answer each question in each section. More detailed health information (allergies, illnesses, etc.) will be collected from selected participants at a later date.


We will make the first selection of participants by March 31, 2020, based on the applications received with this form.

Kesäkoulu on yhteisöllinen leiri, jonka tarkoituksena on tutkia yhdessä oppimista, opitun jakamista sekä vaihtoehtoisten yhteiskuntarakenteiden mahdollisuuksia ja tulevaisuudessa tarvittavia taitoja. Luomme neljäksi viikoksi kokeellisen alustan ja puitteet, joissa tulemme asumaan ulkona leirissä noin 30 hengen kesken ja testaamaan perusteellisesti kestävän elämäntavan vaatimuksia sekä yksilö- että yhteisötasolla. Työpajoihin osallistuminen sekä yhteiseen leirirakenteeseen ja käytäntöihin sitoutuminen tukevat osallistujien henkilökohtaisten prosessien läpikäymistä ja tutkimista. Kesäkoulun luovat yhdessä osallistujat, työpajojen ohjaajat sekä muu henkilökunta. Työpajaohjaajat ovat vastuussa työpajojen sisällöistä ja leirin muu henkilökunta käytännön asioista. Osallistujana olet yhtä lailla osana luomassa oppimiskokemuksia ja leiristä saa eniten irti, kun on itse sitoutunut omaan oppimisprosessiinsa. Onkin tärkeää ymmärtää, että leiri rakentuu yhdessä ja jokaisen osallistujan henkilökohtainen panos on merkittävä kokonaisuuden ja yhteisön kannalta. Luomme kestävää ja kunnioittavaa suhdetta itseemme, toisiimme ja ympäristöömme, ja jaamme leirielämään ja paikkaan liittyviä vastuualueita kaikkien osallistujien ja henkilökunnan kesken. For four weeks, we create an experimental platform and framework where we will live outside in a camp with about 30 people and thoroughly test the requirements of a sustainable lifestyle at both individual and community levels. Attending workshops and engaging in a common camp structure and practices will support the participants in their personal processes and research. The summer school is created together by its participants, workshop supervisors and other staff. The workshop instructors are responsible for the content of the workshops and the rest of the camp staff for practical matters. As a participant, you are equally a part of creating a learning experience, and you will get the most out of the camp by being committed to your own learning process. It is important to understand that the camp is built together and that each participant's personal contribution is significant to the community and for the experience as a whole. We are establishing a lasting and respectful relationship with ourselves, each other and our environment, and share responsibilities for camp life and the place among all participants and staff.
