Responsible Use Agreement--Students: Review the Responsible Use terms and then enter your name and grade level. By entering your name, you are agreeing to handle your school device safely and respectfully according to the terms listed.
Student Responsibilities
The Tablet or Chromebook issued to me by District 2134 is an important learning tool and is for educational purposes. I agree to use the device in accordance with the USC Student Handbook, the USC Bullying/Harassment Policy, and the rules outlined below.
● I agree to do assigned school work even if I am without a Tablet/Chromebook.
● I will handle and transport the device carefully. Also, I will not leave it outdoors or unattended in hallways or in other places.
● I will not intentionally harm the Tablet/Chromebook or case.
● I agree not to bring a family-owned, personal computer or tablet to school for use during the school day.
● I will follow the policies of the USC Student Handbook, the USC Bullying/Harassment Policy, other relevant school policies, and public law when I use the Tablet/Chromebook at school, at home, or anywhere else.
● I will not lend the Tablet/Chromebook to anyone else to use.
● I will recharge the Tablet/Chromebook nightly.
● I recognize that the device is District 2134 property, is monitored, and may be reviewed at any time.
● I understand that disciplinary action will follow if I violate USC’s established rules and policies and that use may be restricted to encourage more focused use of the device.
● I will use email and other network applications for appropriate, responsible communication only.
● I will use my district-assigned password and not share it with others.
● I will return the Tablet/Chromebook when requested to do so and upon withdrawal from United South Central Schools.
