PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Pillar Network Cohort (PNET) in the Doctor of Ministry is a terminal degree designed for pastors seeking advanced training to serve the local church and equip future pastors. Throughout the 31-hour degree, students will acquire new ideas, tools, strategies, and techniques to increase effectiveness and expand opportunities within current and future roles.
Seminars will be designed for each cohort, mainly focusing on Expository Preaching and Pastoral Ministry. Workshops and contextualized learning experiences will be taken in conjunction with one another, and the four specialization-specific seminars will take place separately based on subject matter. Students will have the opportunity to learn from experts in ministry, such as Dr. Dwayne Milioni, Dr. Steven Wade, Dr. Tate Cockrell, and Dr. Chuck Lawless. Other doctoral degreed pastors from Pillar Network churches will provide instruction for the seminars.
