ABOUT THE CONTEST
This contest is organized by The Photographic Society of India (PSI) to celebrate World Photography Day on 19th August 2023. It is open to all.
This will be a PHOTOTHON. The participants will be given a topic and they will have to shoot and submit their images on the given topic on the same day.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS
Participants will have to report at PSI at 8.45 am for the briefing session.
During the briefing, they will be given a topic on which they will have to shoot the pictures between 9.30 am and 12.00 pm.
Participants can use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera/Cell phone to capture the images for the contest.
They will have to report back to PSI between 12.30 pm and 1.00 pm and submit a maximum of 4 unedited images for the contest, straight from the camera.
Participants are not allowed to do any editing in the camera or cell phone or through any external Apps. No Apps are to be used while capturing the images.
Participants are advised to lock their 4 selected images in the camera.
The images to be submitted should be in JEPG format.
Participants must bring their own card reader/cell phone/USB cord.
There will be an informative talk by the judge of the competition, a veteran Photo Journalist at 3.00 pm.
Judging will start at 3.30 pm and the results will be declared immediately after the judging and prizes will be given to the winners.
All winners and participants will be issued a digital certificate.
Prizes for the contest winners:
First Prize      – Rs. 3000/-.
Second Prize – Rs. 2000/-.
Third Prize     – Rs. 1000/-.
